Laxmi Charan & Swastik Stickers

On Diwali night you show Lakshmi the way in. Rangoli powder does it for one evening and then leaves a pink stain on the tiles that is still faintly there at Holi.

These are studded acrylic pieces instead — Laxmi charan footprints and a swastik, in red, green, gold and white with mirror stones. They go up in a minute and come down clean.

Use it for

• Diwali and Lakshmi puja — the trail from the main door inward
• The mandir shelf, the pooja thali, or either side of the doorframe
• Griha pravesh, marking the first entry into a new home
• Rented flats, where a stained floor is your problem at move-out
