Ganesh Kumkum Holder

The kumkum in most houses lives in whatever was free — an old Vicks jar, a film canister, a steel dabbi with a lid that doesn't quite close. Then it tips, and there's a red smear across the mandir shelf that never fully comes off.

This is a proper kankavati: a meenakari holder with Ganesha on the lid, separate wells for kumkum and chandan, and a lid that actually seats. Good-looking enough that it stays out on the shelf instead of going back into the cupboard after every puja.
